The Doctor was quite an interesting character you could say....
Estate: His estate would be Nobility. He is a decent man, but he is abusing his potentional. He is a little selfish, and he's lacking in his religious beliefs. However, his career as a doctor ables him to be very essential to his society. All in all, he's a very helpful man.
Allusions: On page 421 on lines 28 and 29 there are many references to Macbeth's men deserted by Malcolm's army. Macbeth and Malcolm's army are also talked about multiple times in the next twenty pages.
Characteristics: -He neglects to read the bible.
-He believes that the body comes at the expense of the soul.
-He loves gold, so he's really only out to make the money rather than to help people.
-He falls in love with a maid.
Physical Descriptions: -He wore blood red garment. (line 449)
-Underneath he wore a bluish grey outfit. (line 449)
-He loves to dress nicely, but he's dressing so nice that he can't really afford what he is wearing. Unless of course, he takes advantage of his patience, which he seems to do often. (line 451)
Attitude: He had all the ability to help others, but instead he would only help for the money. Therefore, he wouldn't put his whole heart into helping others. He was very greedy and selfish. He felt that he was dead spirtually, but very alive physically.
